That said, regional security and economic stability are shared interests of all nations. If Iranian businesses and entrepreneurs are prevented from engaging in legitimate trade across the region, the commercial interests and operations of American companies will inevitably face significant challenges as well

Lasting security, stability, and economic prosperity can only be achieved when lawful and fair trade is accessible to all. Developments in the days ahead will demonstrate that regional economic security is a shared responsibility and cannot be ensured unilaterally

شرکت‌ها و افرادی که ایالات متحده خارج از ایران تحریم کرده است، هیچ‌گونه رابطه تجاری با من ندارند و هرگز نیز نداشته‌اند. من یک بازرگان ایرانی هستم و همواره در راستای منافع شرکت خود و کشورم فعالیت کرده‌ام.

با این حال، امنیت منطقه‌ای و ثبات اقتصادی، منافعی مشترک برای همه کشورهاست. اگر کسب‌وکارها و کارآفرینان ایرانی از انجام تجارت مشروع در منطقه محروم شوند، منافع تجاری و فعالیت‌های شرکت‌های آمریکایی نیز ناگزیر با چالش‌های جدی روبه‌رو خواهد شد.

امنیت پایدار، ثبات و شکوفایی اقتصادی تنها زمانی محقق می‌شود که تجارت قانونی و منصفانه برای همه در دسترس باشد. تحولات روزهای آینده نشان خواهد داد که امنیت اقتصادی منطقه مسئولیتی مشترک است و نمی‌توان آن را به‌صورت یک‌جانبه تضمین کرد.
