Official start of fuel exports from the Khaf-Herat railway line

With the official start of fuel exports and transit via the Khaf-Herat railway line, DOT One has taken a major step towards activating the strategic East-West corridor. In the first phase, Iran has opened up a sustainable monthly fuel supply capacity of 30,000 tons to Afghanistan, a capacity that could lead to the development of regional trade and strengthen Iran's role in energy transit.

Along this path, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, with their support and assistance, played an effective role in advancing the country's economic goals.
